With an academic background in studio art and anthropology, building homes is part Nick’s artistic journey. “Building is much more of a human process than simply putting together materials,” says Nick. Under Nick’s eye, some of those fine materials are in motion again on a four-acre home site overlooking Chilmark Pond and the Atlantic Ocean. With private access to the pond and deeded beach rights on the ocean-side, the project promises to be one of Vine Island Builders’ spectacular specs.” The housewarming party for this house is going to be fine one, that’s for sure,” says Nick.
